A Clear Vision: navigating the optometry experience for points.

In my quest to accrue points within a rewards program (which I'll refrain from naming), I recently went to the optometrist. This visit promised improved vision the potential for additional points. Transitioning from my health fund's no-gap dentist to an optometry practice conveniently located near my workplace, I anticipated a seamless experience like to my recent dental revelation.


Booking my appointment was a breeze, courtesy of the practice's efficient online system. Like when I went to the dentist, when I stepped into the clinic, I was met with a warmth and professionalism that immediately set a positive tone for the consultation. Unlike the sterile, assembly-line atmosphere of my previous optometry visits, this felt more personalised, with engaging conversation and genuine rapport.


As the consultation came to an end, I found myself smoothly transitioning from eye exam to lens selection, all integrated into the appointment process.


My optometrist visit reminded of the value of seeking out practices that prioritise efficiency, customer service, and perhaps, the occasional bonus points along the way.
