Are you Buying Weak Companies at the Wrong Time?

As the ASX enters the AGM Season Rudi Filapek-Vandyck explains how AGMs impact a company's share price and how long that share price takes to recover.

Adding another layer to the complexity, Filapek-Vandyck reviews the 'Value' companies issuing profit warnings and downgrades as in this lead up to the AGMs.

Filapek-Vandyck warns that many investors could be buying weak companies at the wrong time especially as cracks are starting to appear in the Australian dividend profile.

FNArena's calculations indicate that in aggregate, next year there will be less dividends paid with Suncorp (SUN) and Perpetual (PPT) being two early movers upsetting shareholders.
